Internal Software
Replace the spreadsheet your business actually runs on.
Custom operations platforms designed around how your team really works — one source of truth instead of six tools and a shared file nobody trusts.

From a founder we worked with
As a non-technical founder, I was explicit that I needed a partner who would think deeply about outcomes rather than just execute instructions — and that's exactly what they delivered. They understood the challenges instinctively, made decisions independently that were entirely consistent with what I was trying to achieve, and took enormous friction out of the process. The result exceeded expectations.
- 3 Products we own and run
- 7,000+ Suppliers in the Osinto database we built
- Glasgow Where the team actually sits
- 1 working day Reply time on enquiries
Every growing business outgrows its spreadsheets.
The usual signs, in roughly the order they appear:
- The same information lives in four places and none of them agree.
- One person understands the master spreadsheet and they are on holiday.
- Monthly reporting takes two days of manual assembly.
- Mistakes now cost real money, not just time.
- Onboarding a new starter takes weeks of shadowing.
- You are paying for seats on tools that solve a third of the problem.
Generic software makes you adapt to it. At a certain size that trade stops being worth it.
We design software around your operation.
Instead of bending your business to fit a product built for someone else's, we build the platform that matches how you already work — and remove the steps that only exist because the tools do not talk to each other.
One source of truth, faster operations, and reporting that takes seconds instead of days.

If we think you should buy software instead of building it, we will say so on the first call. We have talked people out of builds before.
Right for you if
- Your process is a genuine competitive advantage
- Information is scattered and nobody trusts the numbers
- You have someone internally who can answer questions weekly
- Budget is £8,000 or more
Not for you if
- An off-the-shelf tool covers most of it — we will tell you
- The process changes fundamentally every quarter
- Nobody can describe how the work currently happens
- You need it live in three weeks
How it runs
Internal software fails when it is designed for whoever signed off the budget instead of whoever uses it. So we start with the users.
-
Shadow and scope
We sit with the people doing the work and watch how it actually happens, not how the process document says it does. Then a written scope and a fixed price.
-
Design around the work
Screens designed for the person using them forty times a day, not for a demo. Fewer clicks beats more features.
-
Build in slices
We ship one complete workflow at a time so your team gets value before the whole system is finished, and we learn from real use as we go.
-
Migrate and hand over
Your existing data moved across, your team trained, and full ownership of code and infrastructure transferred to you.
Questions
What does an internal platform cost?
Usually £8,000 to £40,000. A single-purpose tool replacing one spreadsheet starts around £8,000. A multi-role operations platform with permissions, reporting and integrations is typically £25,000 to £50,000. Fixed price against a fixed scope after the scoping phase.
Why build rather than buy something off the shelf?
Often you should buy. If a £40/month tool covers 90% of what you need, we will tell you to buy it — we have talked people out of builds before. Custom makes sense when the way you work is the advantage, when you are paying per seat for software you barely use, or when your process genuinely does not fit any product on the market.
What happens to the data in our spreadsheets?
Migrating it is part of the project, not an extra. We clean and import your existing records, and run the new system alongside the old one until you are confident enough to switch off the spreadsheet.
What if our team will not use it?
That is the main failure mode for internal software, and it is usually because it was designed for whoever commissioned it rather than whoever uses it. We start by shadowing the people who will use it every day, and we ship one workflow at a time so adoption is proven before the next piece is built.
Who owns it, and what if we want to leave?
You own everything from day one — code, infrastructure, accounts, data. You can take it in-house, hire another team, or keep us on. No licence, no lock-in, no per-seat fee to us.
Can it talk to the systems we already have?
Yes, and it usually has to. Accounting, CRM, email, payments — if it has an API we can integrate it, and if it does not we will tell you what the workaround costs before you commit.

Or send us the details.
Three fields. Tell us what the spreadsheet does and we will tell you whether it is worth replacing.
